The Chorley Barrier stands as an ultra-heavy-duty deterrent, representing the heaviest barrier in our product lineup. It's crafted from heavy gauge box section material, making it a favored choice among many local authorities. Given its substantial size and weight, this barrier features a bespoke manufactured hinge system to accommodate the heavy gauge materials effectively.

Beyond its security features, the Chorley Barrier boasts low-level locking posts and an integrated shroud over the lock system, enhancing its overall safety and functionality. Moreover, it readily accommodates a lower gate option for added security measures.

Considering its weight and size, the hinge posts are constructed from robust 200 x 200 x 8mm steel and are set in a foundation measuring 1000mm x 1000mm x 1000mm. The barrier arms are made from 80 x 80 x 3mm box section and can reach a maximum length of up to 8 meters.

This barrier is well-regarded in the industry as an effective traveler incursion preventer, as it is challenging to cut or remove easily. While we offer an installation service for this barrier, should you wish to install it independently, you'll need on-site lifting equipment to hoist the barrier arm into position.
