The Height Restriction Barrier and Swing Gate combination offers a powerful solution for managing access to your car park while also regulating the types of vehicles that can enter the area. The swing gate can be securely locked to completely restrict access to the car park when necessary and easily opened to allow passage for low vehicles. This versatile system is in high demand among country parks, schools, and public car parks with restricted operating hours, providing an effective means of access control tailored to specific needs.

The height barrier and swing gate combination allows for 2 types of position / access:

• Height Barrier & Swing Gate closed – prevents all access
• Height Barrier closed – Swing Gate open – allows vehicles of correct height entry

For width 3 - 5 meters single leaf opening gate option available. For widths greater than 5 meters will be manufactured as a double leaf swing gate.

Manufactured from galvanised steel and painted finish to provide a durable and effective product. Optional extras available such as a painted finish, knocking bar, signage, and root fixed or surface fixed options and optional swing gate to prevent access during closing times.

HEAVY DUTY

Materials: 100 x 100 x 5mm Steel Box Section
Finish: Hot Dip Galvanised BS EN ISO 9001:2015, or Zinc treated and Powdercoated in a range of colours
Surface Mounted Base Plate: 500 x 500 x 10mm with Gusset steel construction
Root Fixed: 600 mm dig in post with spigots for concreting into ground

Installation

Root Fixed - Recommended size for the concrete foundation is 700x700x700mm deep as a minimum for main posts. Opening Latch Post foundation should be a 300mm cube.

Surface Fixed - Main post requires 4 no 16mm bolts for the two upright posts (fixing bolts not supplied). The base size is 400x400x10mm. Catch post requires 4 no 12mm bolts

• Opening latch post – strongly recommended as a safety measure for the swing gate.
• This product is supplied as Hot Dip Galvanised to BS EN ISO 9001:2015, or zinc treated and Powdercoated. If both Powdercoated and Galvanised option is required, this will have an additional cost and will extend the lead time. Please contact a member of the sales team if both options are required, as this will be quoted separately.
• Please note that this product is not suitable for marine environments unless Galvanised and Powercoated option is selected.
• Bespoke sizes are available and will be made to order. Please contact us for a quote for any bespoke size. We can manufacture extra tall height restriction barriers suitable for construction sites and quarries etc.
• Please note that if no bespoke size is selected, the height barrier will be made to the standard size selected.
